Prepared for June 30th? Stropro’s launches Australia's first multi-issuer protected equity loan facility!

Stropro's CEO & Co-founder, Anto Joseph, joined AusBiz's Nadine Blayney, to share how demand for alternatives rise amid rate uncertainties. He emphasizes the uncertainty of interest rates remaining elevated due to factors like the potential for war-induced equity and commodity market volatility and possibly a shock in oil prices, further impacting inflation.

Joseph noted that emerging markets are cooling off their interest rate hikes, while developed markets anticipate prolonged high interest rates. As a response, many investors are leaning towards core alternatives to counter inflation and lower downside risk compared to public equities.

Joseph further elaborated on the growing appetite for alternative investments, specifically in private credit and green infrastructure, highlighting the importance of strategic long-term investing over trying to time the market.
