Stropro announces partnership with Mongrels Men Health & Wellbeing for the 2023 Mongrel Masters Charity Golf Day.

Stropro is thrilled to announce our partnership with Mongrels Men Health & Wellbeing for the upcoming 2023 Mongrel Masters Charity Golf Day.

The event is taking place at Moore Park Golf Course on Friday, March 24th.

Many years ago one of the founders of Stropro was involved in setting up the charity Batyr, a preventative mental health organisation, created and driven by young people, for young people. It was through Batyr we were introduced to Tim Hewson and learnt about Mongrels Men. Tim and his team have been hosting events and activities to raise awareness and funds for men's mental health. These events and activities are designed to get blokes off the couch, outdoors, exercising, communicating and connecting with other blokes in their local communities. This is incredibly important work.

According to Beyond Blue, on average, one in eight men will experience depression and one in five men will experience anxiety at some stage of their lives. Blokes make up an average seven out of every nine suicides every single day in Australia.

Stropro is honoured to join Kelly+Partners Chartered Accountants in supporting Tim with the Mongrels Men charity.
